Simple,
durable
goods
for you
& your
home!
Made to
last.
Made in
America.
Raw
Materials
Design
proudly
offers a
line of
attractive,
yet
tough-as-nails
aprons,
linens
and
totes
for you
and your
home.
Every
one is
made in
the USA
from
domestically-sourced
materials.
Each is
an
everyday
workhorse
that
will
last for
years
without
special
attention,
care, or
coddling.
Outsourcing
is out.
Integrity
is in.
Raw
Materials
Design
is the
creation
of
designer
and
photo
stylist
Janna
Lufkin.
Besides
being a
regular
contributor
to
Better
Homes &
Gardens
magazine,
Janna
regularly
consults
and
blogs
about
home
design
and
organization
topics.

In 2008,
what
started
as an
'ah-ha!'
moment
and a
knack
for
making
something
out of
nothing,
Janna
tip-toed
down the
new-business
path yet
again
with her
simple
idea for
a
stylish
yet
sturdy
grocery
tote.
Thanks
to her
talented
friend
Nancy,
their
prototype
became
Raw
Materials
Design's
first
product.
Today,
Nancy
still
works
her
magic
translating
rough
designs
into
working
prototypes
(after
she
finishes
her
school
bus
route!)
But when
her
industrial
sewing
machine
stripped
a gear
in
protest,
we
enlisted
a
Seattle
workroom
to sew
our
finished
products.
Raw
Materials
Design
is
committed
to
sourcing
all our
materials
in the
USA and
whenever
possible,
to
buying
materials
actually
made
here as
well. As
a
result,
all of
our
totes
are
being
redesigned
with
domestically-sourced
or
produced
fabric.
Every
time you
buy a
product
directly
from Raw
Materials
Design,
our Ties
that
Bind
program
donates
a
portion
of our
profits
to
organizations
that
help to
ensure
those
who need
a meal
can have
one.
